Hi,
My brother had an old lady as a cook from beginning of his career. After his marriage same cook continued to come to cook for him and his family( Wife , Son ). This cook gave her daughter-N-Law as her substitute for this job as a cook when it was difficult for this old lady to cook anymore. After few months, this old lady passed away. This new cook remained as my brother's family cook for last 9 years. When my sister-N-law filed a 498 case against all of us( my brother, mother and 4 sisters), she made the cook as one of her witnesses. My sister-n-law is a big liar and blaming us for all such criminal acts about which we can't even think of. I am ready to go for lie-detecting test if it is required to prove our innocence. After getting bail, as per Lawyer's advice my brother started staying with his wife. But it was impossible for my brother to agree to his wife's demand to sign an agreement to close the case. So after 2 months he decided to leave his bungalow and stay outside wherever he can arrange his accommodation. He also went to his cook's home to tell her that he no more need her service as a cook. When he went to her home, he was shocked to know that cook has not told anyone in her family ( including her husband) about her involvement in this 498 case as a witnesses. Now my brother's wife is making big issue out of this and she is demanding my brother to request the same cook to go to his bungalow for cooking where only his wife and 2 kids live. My brother is going to stay elsewhere and have his meal in restaurants or mess.
My questions are - Did my brother commit a mistake by asking cook not to come for cooking anymore? Should he fall for his wife's demand and request that cook to go for cooking for his wife and kids? His wife is a well settled doctor. Can't my brother ask his wife to take care of the cooking/meal problem by herself? Either she can cook or hire a new cook! Can my liar sister-N-law put my brother in trouble again for visiting cook's home and firing that cook from job?

we got married 5 months back, as my wife is always blaming lie on myself(we dont get even single paise of dowry) and during marriage she lived me with only for 15 days happily after that she went for higher studies and not showing interest to pick a house in the place to leave a life even in the weekend where she is staying(am working in another city) and not showing interest to come to my home even in her vacation, when enquired in their home also their parents not showing interest to send her with me, so when filing RCR, can i ask police or court to ask their herself and her mother to undergo psychatric test(like lie detector test???) so that we can come to know the truth from their mouth itself(what and all they have thinked criminally) is it possible in indian laws?

I am a woman of 65 years of age staying with my son and daughter in law. My daughter in law deserted my son 3 years ago, staying with her parents, working there and earning a salary of Rs12000/- pm. My bahu, when staying with us always carried a campaign against me, making false allegations, maligning me in the eyes of my son, threatening me of committing suicide. Even she wrote note making false allegation against me and threatening of suicide and then deserted my son 3 years ago. I immediately wrote a detailed letter to her parents refuting all allegations and informing them about the suicide threat. I had sent the letter by Registered A/D and preserved the acknowledgement. This was 3 years ago. Had it been true, she would have definitely lodged a police complaint then as she had full protection of her parents. She did not do so. Now when my son informed her that he wants divorce under desertion and cruelty she said she would contest it and lodge a police complaint against me for domestic violence. Is the DV act not for the protection of senior woman like me? Can I lodge a police complaint against her under DV act for mental torture as aggression is best defense. If she can lodge a complaint after 3 year, can I also not lodge a complaint. Please advise how do I go about?.

We have filed a mutual divorce case, - MCD - and the 6 month time is due in Jan-2014
Now I have got to know that she has married someone, I do not want to pay the alimony now as she is well to do herself and moroever she has got a partner for life
1. What next can i do ?
2. If i appear in Jan 2014 and ask for more time to think over the MCD decission what happens ?
My divorce case (sep 12) under proceeding she filed HMA24 & 26 (Nov 12) and also 498a (on 27/07/13) also running, AB granted and report not submitted. i am in air force so POR (personal occurance reort) action is being followed for record/status changes hence no part-II order (applicable for army only) exists in this. how can i change next of kin from wife to mother/brother.
while during my marriage POR action, there was mendatory to make wife next of kin as official said this. is it so..?

Sirs,
I have filed divorce petition (five years back) and wife filed RCR petition (two years back)
My divorce petition dismissed and ordered me to cohabit within three months with wife from the date of judgment. I am plan to go for appeal at high court.
In this connection,
1.I request that limitation period (90 days)is starts from date of judgement or date of judgement copy receipt for appeal.
2. Then validity of Cohabit Order for within three month is starts from date of judgement or copy of receipt of the order. Because, after three month, the opposite party is plan to file case on me for maintenance and attach my property. please give suggestions.
Disinheritance of son
My father in law has been living with us ( i.e his daughter and me (son-in-law))since the last 2 1/2 years as his son and daughter in law have shown utter disregard to his well being. my mother in law expired intestate in 2009. the son holds 16 % undivided share in my father in laws flat and my wife holds 16 % and my father in law 66 %. the flat was bought by self aquired funds by my father in law and his son has 0 Rs contribution to it. That being the matter i want to know the process of disinheritance as my father in law is very disturbed that his son and D in law havnt bothered to even call him ONCE or even meet him ONCe in the last 2 1/2 years. they are absolutely not bothered whether he lives or dies. Just the other day my father in law rang up his son and said he would like to meet him, and his son flatly refused to meet him or acknowledge him !! i would like to bring to the fact that we are in the process of filing suit of maintenance U/s 125 of the IPC against him ( the son ).Does this not amount the cruelty and indifference by the son towards his 82 year old father ? are they not laws that protect the rights of senior citizens against this absolute uncareing and indifferent attitude. I mean not even one phone call or visitinquiring about his health etc... not even one!! kindly advise. Thank you
