Hi, wife and myself separated for last one year but divorce not yet filed.have 6 and 3 years daughters.wife doctor presently staying in rented house .rent of same Is beared by me.now I m purchasing a property in my name throughly on my income. Query : can wife claim any right on same in anyways

I heard that after 7 yrs of marriage, wife can't file a case of 'dowry', is it correct? Has this got any relation with Sec 498a?

Now a days my bhabhi is living on rent in malvia nagar. she left the home 4 months ago. Under cwc complaint, she has filled allegations of dowry against fatherinlaw, brotherinlaw, sisterinlaw ( me ) & motherinlaw & dont know why left her husband. The only allegation against husband which she has put is Domestic violence & that too on last day when she left. Domestic violence according to her is also done by her inlaws and every family member, including me.
Now the reason why she is living in rent is might be to get big maintainence( which you people can clear more ) or else she is living in lavia nagar coz her uncle is a police officer in PS Malvia nagar. May be she wants the case to be handled by PS Malvia Nagar.
The area where crime happened according to her allegitations is our home in dwarka. Dwarka police has already registered fir under her complaint the day she left home, in that fir she has said she was beaten and then she left home.
Now case is under mediation at nanakpura, after that Fir will be filled, Will that Fir go to Police station dwarka, or malvia nagar, where my bhabhi is living on rent.

Sir,Iam govt employ,iam &my wife Un Necessarily involved by my brothrillas wife In DVC case.now trials are on process, we are living in erode (tamilnadu )last 7 years,they r at vijayavijayawada (AP) both r govt emploemployees, they had 1 year baby, we are not involved in any matters , she file case on his husband including us.so for this case if any problem of my job? &she ask compensation &maintenance,who will give maintenance &compensation whether his husband or me? Please reply .

Hi I married a Indian girl in 2000 and took her with me to Canada in July 2000 itself. She became a Canadian Citizen in 2003. I have been a Canadian National since 1989. In 2007 without telling me she filed for a divorce in Ontario, Canada but the application got cancelled because she didn't pursue it.
In 2007 we went our separate ways and finally in 2012 I filed for a divorce in Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She made one excuses after another and kept running for 3 years.
In July of 2016, the divorce was ordered and 30 days later a divorce certificate was issued by Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Canada.
I have applied in India to get married again. The ex wife's father has filed an objection that both the parties were married in India and the marriage in India is still valid. He has hidden the facts that his daughter lives in Canada and haven't been to India in long time.
Now I have to go in front of Special marriage Magistrate. What legal reason should I give him in regards of my case.
Please advise.

I have filed a petition for getting maintenance for me and my 2.4 yr old daughter in my hometown. mediation section is going on. meanwhile husband filed a child custody petition at his work place which is 342 kms away from my place. Is it possible to transfer that case to my hometown..? coz travelling to such a long distance with baby is difficult and lso financial problem is there.

If working wife can ask share in husband's/Inlaws property?
Hello,
My question is if a working wife can ask for her share in property in case of divorce in :-
1) property(House) in name of husband but property purchased by his father in husband's name when husband was a minor. Nobody living in this house. Wife stays in different city and my house is in my hometown which is a different city.
2)Is this good to gift such property by husband to his father/mother in case working wife can ask share in this property or its good to transfer the property to parents?
3) Is there any specific time period after which any such property transfers remain void or illegal after starting of divorce case. Because till now nothing is in court only cwa cell proceedings going on.
