Dear Experts,
This relates to an MACT case of my Father which was filed 5 years ago. Unfortunately, as on date I really don't have any update about the same and my Lawyer has not been forthcoming about the same and all my requests and urges to him has not fructified.
Hence, under the circumstances, how can I find out the status of the case and retrieve the records thereof from the concerned court(MACT-II). I do have the case number with which was shared by him.
Further, will it be possible to retrieve the records from the insurance company, against whom the claim has been filed? If so, how?

I have taken a Housing loan 6 years back against a flat which was supposed to be delivered in 1.5 years of booking. The builder has not constructed the flat till now.I kept paying the EMIs of the bank in the interest that my credit history do not get deteriorated. But in 2014 I could not find it comfortable to continue the EMIs of the bank while there is no hope of Flat. I stopped the EMI and informed to bank with the reasons of stopping the EMIs. While I was paying the EMIs, I filed case in consumer court against the builder. The case is still going on. I informed the bank that my case is going on and once the case is resolved I will pay the EMIs.
Since the day I stopped EMIs bank did not take any action . Now last month I have got the notice from Recovery Tribunal for the outstanding with interest. the Bank has also made the party to the Builder for recovery.
I met the builder and found that Builder is in talks with bank and they are going to settle the outstanding between themselves.
1) My worry is that how they can settle the loan between themselves while I am also the party and have genuine reason of stopping.
2) I have deposited the EMIs till last year and that included most of the interest part. The amount which I have deposited is more than 15 Lacs.
3) If bank settles the account with builder . How I can secure my interest in that .
Please advise as to how I should handle it now as My one case is going on with builder in consumer court and now I also have to give the reply of the Recovery notice . What are your suggestion to save my hard earned money

We need advice as a tenant. We are occupants of a flat in Chennai for the last 6 yrs. On 30th Aug,our house owner verbally informed us to vacate by Dec end. In three different instances she clearly said by Dec is when she wants us to vacate. She gave sufficient time since we have a small child and not to cause inconvenience. Since the notice to vacate came from her we informed her by email in mid oct of our intention to vacate by nov end. She lives out of India and plans to visit in Jan 2016 only. she now is asking us to give her 2 mths notice since we r vacating before dec, citing that she said we should vacate in Jan.
Would need advice if we are required to give 2 mths notice again wen the notice to vacate came from her and we are doing so well within the time given. She did not renew the rent agreement last time. From her side everything was verbal communication.
Now we r being asked to pay rent till mid dec 2015 taking into account from the time we wrote the mail to her n 2 mths from then. Thanks.

Dear Sir,
There is a project name 2x500 MW Marwa Tendubhata Thermal Power Project in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh which was given Environment Clearance under Environment Protection Act 1986 after Public Hearing for Start of Power Generation within 5 years with terms and conditions to be complied and fresh application will be given on change of product mix or activity. Now Enviorment Clearance has expired and they are in process of getting it by unfair means.
There is a rule and notification of MOEF with regards to extension of environment clearance that any project proponent has to apply for extension of environment clearance before expiry in prescribed FORM-I format along with compliance report only after that application will be accepted and proposal for extension will be placed before Expert Appraisal Committee to give recommendation for extension to regulatory authority.
But Member Secretary of placed the matter before Expert Appraisal Committee without submission of FORM-I along with enclosures required and compliance report. I have reported the same in DOPT public grievance portal but action is not taken please guide me there is chance of corruption and conspiracy between project proponent and officials of MOEF

Buyer did not transfer car to his name & fitness, tax lapsed
I gave away my old car in exchange-sale to a car showroom in 2011. They sold it to someone who applied for transfer of ownership and renewal of fitness. Though I tendered my sale verification at RTO, I later came to understand much later that the buyer had aborted the process thereby retaining the car with its fitness lapsed but still registered under my name. By 2012, the tax also defaulted. I also came to know that in 2014 he might have disposed the car as scrap. Meanwhile the unpaid taxes and fines are accumulating in my name. I neither have the car with me nor its registration certificate (RC). He is also not giving me back the RC for surrendering to RTO for cancellation of registration. I need your expert advice as to how to cancel registration of this car and get the tax dues clear under such situation.
