Is it legal for a person to have 2 DMat Accounts on the same name . What if both these accounts are with different Depositories ? For e.g. , he has one account with Allahabad Bank which is a Depository Participant with CDSL & another account with Bank of Baroda which is a Depository Participant with NSDL . What would be the Penalty in case it is illegal ?

Case: the Company is amalgamated with another Company in the year 2002 & court order for the same is received. However, the same is not filed with ROC & the status of both the Companies (transferor & transferee) on MCA portal is active.
Can anyone guide me whether we can file court order with ROC today? if yes what is the procedure? Also would like to know whether the transferor Company needs to file balance sheets & P&L for the intermediate years during which the status of transferor Company is active?
Please guide if possible.
Thanks in advance

I have observed that Bangalore properties have 2 rates. One is for registration purpose and one is for actual exchange of cash. The market value is more than double of what is actually registered. Because of this, it is difficult to get bank loans for the actual amount. And the government is cheated of its tax during property deals. This is happening brazenly under the very noses of government, Incommetax officials, CVC, judiciary etc. All are publishing through their agents how much they want in order to sell property. This is how black money is generated. Why no one wants to correct these loopholes?
