Dear All,
I am an engg grad, not much aware of law. One of my friends lost his ATM, mistakingly with PIN no written inside the cover. After having found that he lost the card,he checked his a/c. Then found that some transactions happened.
With little bit knowledge I tried to find out the sequence of operations done:
1.Approached bank with ref nos in the a/c for the transactions and got the details of a company who is the service provider for internet purchases.
2. Got the contact nos of the company in internet.
3. Contacted the customer care of the company with ref nos reflecting in a/c book for the transactions.
4. Got the details of the website through which the purchases were done and also the purchase order nos.
5. Contacted the customer care of the website with purchase order nos and got the details of the individual who did the purchases and to whom the goods are delivered along with delivery address.
Plese guide us how to proceed further to get the justice in time. Still police complaint is not lodged.As my friend is not educated and myself is away from the state due to my proffessional commiments to guide him personally.
Please help.

Sir I had asked in my last query that i had got the Court Decree which the court has given 1/5th share to me and I had given the application to the shop establishment sr. inspector for entery of my name in the shop establishment he is asking me a 1)N.O.C. from existence Licence Holder. 2) Agreement Copy/Ownership documents of the premises 3) Xerox copy of Bombay Shop & establsihment Certificate on which your name is duly changed. Sir what can i do for my name entery in shop establishment. The inspector had taken amount(bribe)from defendant they dont want to enter my name plz help me for this problem.

Sirs I had asked below query to which I recd reply.
" would like to know what diffrence would it make in the eyes of law if the indemnity for loss of demand draft is not given on stamp papaer and instead given on plain paper".
Pls clarify if the agreement or indemnity on non stamped paper be made admissible in court of Law by paying extra stamp duty ?

I have recently misplaced my Voter' Card which carries my old house which has been sold in the meantime. Unfortunately I am not having the xerox of my Voters' Card. For change of Address I am required to provide the Particulrs of my Part Numbers, Ward No, Constituently Assemly No. to the Election Commissioner's office as well for lodging GD with my P.S about lost of my card. Kindly advice which allow me to to make changes in address and also for Lodging GD.Your reply at the earliest will be appreciated

Hi,
I brought a flat in a redevelopment society. As per the agreement done by builder with old tenant they cannot make new members till OC is handed over to society. I am staying in society for past 11 months and society is not ready to accept us as member,though builder is claiming that OC is ready. We have submitted all documents requested by builder for membership. But there is no action from society. We are being treated as alien by society's committee members. They are not even ready to do any maintenance of our floor like our floor lights are not working for past few months but they are not ready to work on that. Even the builders are behaving in rude way when we approach them with construction defects in our house. I would request you to guide us on how we can tackle this issue.

Hi,
I have imported medicines from the US via DHL. Now, upon delivery, they want me to pay customs duty, counter vailing duty and handling fee. I am not sure if I am supposed to.
If some one could help, would appreciate.

I had a credit acrd issued in 2007, since then in a span of 1 year I had used around 98000/- rs. I have been regularly paying minimum amount due. I have paid around 134000/- till date. I am willing to settle the card , but still the outstanding is 81000/-
ON GTG THE EXPERT OPINION , I HAD SETTLEMENT OPTION OF 20000/- YESTERDAY AT 7.28PM AND ASKED TO SETTLE THE CARD TODAY I.E 30/10/2010. I HAVE REPLIED THAT SINCE I AM NOT IN TOWN AND AT SUCH A SHORT NOTICE I CANNOT PAY , PL GIVE ME 72 HRS AND TWO INSTALLMENTS...? PL ADVICE ... HOW SHOULD I GO ABOUT THE SAME?
THE EXPERT ADVICE WAS ALSO THAT IF THE BANK DOESNT AGREE , I CAN FILE A WROITTEN COMPLAINT WITH RBI WITH ALL DOC.. PL ADVISE...

I had motor accident. a auto ricksaw driver dash me from back side while I was taking U turn. One lady in auto was minor injured.
It was total mistake of autoricksaw driver but still when police came started saying that though it is a mistake of auto driver but we will keep the blame on you as you are covered with the insurance.
After much headache I settle the matter with some amount given to lady as a compensation.
Though it was not my fault I was forced to pay
will some one comment on this what options were open for me.
Also let me know the procedure when in case such accident happen again what shall I do. Is it compulsary to handover the car to police ?
