The house that we were living since 40 years was not available in land records in revenue department. My father registered our house in 2006 and gift settlement it to my mother. We are paying house tax, water taxes and electrcity bills since 40 years. It is not Andhra pradesh assigned land. I searched for survey number but it is only showing the survey no of the hospital that exist 20 meters away. no officer came to us and questioned us. What are the necessary things I have to do now to make sure everything fine...

Hello, we are two brothers and two sisters, mother passed away in 1996 and father died last month due to heath conditions. One of my brothers is married. He gat married last year now has a month old son. His wife stayed only for two weeks in our house after marriage, she live with her own parents in Kanpur also work there in a bank. Right after second day of my father's death she threatened me and my sister to get us out of this house as we are daughters and we don't have rights on this house (earned by my father in Lucknow). So my brother told us that he will take his name off from this property so that his wife and his in laws don't create problems for us if anything happens to him (my brother and his wife both are bankers in government bank). The house is registered in my father's name. I need to know the procedure and how long will it take. Please advise me as we never faced such situation. Thank you

Dear Experts,
I am from the state of Tamilnadu. How much court fee should be paid for filing a partition suit in the district court if the Plaintiffs are not in possession of the property ??
And how is possession defined in law ? What constitutes as "Possessing a property" ?? Is it mere physical presence in the property or Possessing the documents and pattas and deed pertaining to the property.
Dear experts, I request you to kindly Please Explain.

Me, my mother and sister were forced to sign a power of attorney and an building agreement with a builder. After seeing the sanctioned plan we had declined the offer. We had filed a case u/s 9 of Indian Civil Code.My mother expired recently. How can we revoke hte agreement and the power of attorney?
Please respond fast.

My grandfather had purchased land from SC 32 years earlier. we have possession of the land today also but some sc are now claiming their land by saying that SC land cannot be purchased by general caste. We have full documentation also of the land that is Bainama of the land.
Land is under our possession and we have bainama also. Its been 32 year and now they are raising case because of seeing the land prices. Need expert opinion that how to save our land. What law can save the land and dimiss the case at once

Sir i have house in govandi mumbai - 400043. I have taken house in 2006. Sir we do not have photo pass and survey pavati . From where i will get these two document and how much money i have to spend .? Sir i ask two - three people they were demanding 30000 rupees only for survey pavati .

I AM FROM ANDHRA PRADESH. MY MOTHER GOT 1.50 ACRES FROM HER HUSBAND AFTER HIS DEATH(DIED IN 1987).MY FATHER GOT 3.00 ACRES FROM HIS FATHER. MY GRAND FATHER GOT SAME LAND FROM HIS FATHER THROUGH PARTITION. PARTITION DONE ORALLY.
ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE IT WAS SELF ACQUIRED PROPERTY IN THE HANDS OF MY FATHER.
WE ARE 5 CHILDREN i.e 3 BROTHERS AND 2 DAUGHTERS.
MY FATHER SOLD 1.50 ACRES FOR MY SISTERS MARRIAGE AND SALE PROCEEDS GAVE AS DOWRY.
MY MOTHER IS ALIVE AND WRITTEN A WILL DEED IN DECEMBER 2017.
IN WILL DEED, SHE WROTE AS EQUAL SHARE TO 3 BROTHERS AND NO SHARE TO 2 DAUGHTERS.
BUT, WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE MY ELDER SISTER AND HER HUSBAND BY USING UNDUE INFLUENCE, COERCION ON MY MOTHER AND REGISTERED 50 CENTS AS GIFTDEED ON 07/02/2018.
TODAY MY MOTHER TOLD ME ABOUT THAT REGISTRATION AND CHEATING BY MY ELDER SISTER.
MY MOTHER IS READY TO CANCEL THE GIFT DEED NOW.
IS IT POSSIBLE?

Got my fathers company as a legal gift yet he keeps the gpa
hello ,
My father recently gave me a deed of transferring a Factory(metal processing plant) and all its property plus liabilities as a deed of Gift.
According to the deed...he retains the General power of Attorney and also a Special Power of Attorney along with rights to invest the profits of the business..
This makes me think is signing this deed any good for me as it gives me all the responsibilities(which i am happy to undertake) along with me being Liable for any losses.
so my query is a 2 part query.
1.Is it okay for me to sign the deed and just be a nominal head when my father invests profits and makes big decisions?
2. in case i sign this will my elder brother be able to have any rights to the property in the future considering it is a gift made to me by my father?
