I have been living in my house with a surrounding boundary wall since last 10 years.
This year, my neighbor started constructing house in the adjacent plot with his house wall touching my boundary wall. His house does not have a boundary wall.
I have not given the boundary wall rights to my neighbor.
Is my neighbor's construction legal?
Shouldn't he maintain a minimum setback gap between my boundary wall and his house?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have a query regarding my grandfathers property. He had a property of 4000 sqft land. The property belongs to my great grandfather and my grandfather had written the property (uripa of memorandum) to my father and his brother each one 2000 sqft land and expired on 2005. But my fathers brother keeping original documents (uripa) he says the whole property is mine and the government has recently given applications for issuing patta in our area. My father is working in abroad and my father’s brother should not get the patta. If he gets the patta may be he can throw us from the home.
Could someone guide us handle this situation and stop patta

My grandmother had purchased a house in 1984. She has divided the property into 5 shares into her sons. Now after her death, all sons are decided to sell this property and they have sold this Rs 2.12crore in 2014.
As per my father shares he would get 10% of the sold amount. My father is retired man and he doesn't have any property on his name. Just wanted to know his tax liability in this case. What would be the taxable amount?
Also, wanted to know what are the different ways to save the tax.

Father passed away several years before. I and brother think of making a settlement deed to divide the property among ourselves with consent from mother. I am unable to find out how much amount is currently fixed for settlement deed towards stamp duty and registration fees in tamilnadu. Also is there any upper limit for stamp duty and registration fees? Thank you.

Hello,
I have a query regarding my great grandfathers property. The property belongs to my great grand father and my grand father had written the property to my father and his sisters. My father has expired recently and the grand parents are planning to revisit the will and write the whole property to their daughters or share unfairly.
My father and family had taken care of them and my mothers dowry was also completely taken by them promising the whole property was for us.
Could someone guide us giving pointers as to how to handle this suitation legally.
Thankyou for your guidance.

My tenant is staying in my house from last 8 years. He is interested to buy the same.
I want to sell this house over 1-2 years once I get good property in another city (where I am staying). I have a home loan of Rs 20 L. Now I need to revise the rent agreement and register the same. Till now this year I have not registered the agreement. For safety I want to Register it.
I have asked him to address proof as permanent address. He told me all his voted id, passport, PAN card has my house address, since he is staying here last 8 years.
Can I register tenant's address as my house address?
"Mr. A a tenant who's address is ..my house address".

Someone wants to open shops in different states across India for this he needs to take shops on rent. He has to enter into Leave and License agreement in different states, whether he has to be present individually at all the places to execute Leave and License Agreement or he can give Power of Attorney to someone to enter into contract on his behalf. If he can give POA then is he required to get the POA registered in each State seperately or a single POA registered at one place (for say Mumbai) will suffice in all the states.

Dear Sir,
We Have a house of 1750 Sq. Ft. of Housing Board for last 35 years purchased by my father. We are 4 brothers and 1 sister. We 03 brothers live in same house and sister is married. One of my brother have left the house approx. 18 years back.
1. The property registration is on the name of my younger brother and mother.
2. My mother expired in year 2007.
3. Now my brother wants to sell the property.
My Query is:-
Q.1. Is he the sole owner of the property?
Q.2. We three brothers and sister are ready to sell the property; but one brother who left is not ready; does he have any right on this property. &
Q.3. Consent of whom will be required for sale. Can the brother with Registry alone sell the property?
