Family info is as follows:
D (he got ancestral property from his previous generation, 100% this is not self-acquired)
Wife
2 Daughters (1 was married when D died but the other didn't marry at all)
6 Sons
D died in 1979
Wife died in 1992
Unmarried Daughter died in 2003
Married Daughter still alive
So now I want to know the following:
1) How many shares are calculated after D's death?
2) Wife and unmarried daughter didn't have any will.

Sir,
My father got some properties (both self acquired and ancestral) of my grandfather during partition with his brother. Father expired on 2002.
I have filed a partition suite of those properties in 2008 in district court and still pending. Mother filed a suit & IA in a lower court in 2014 saying a will was registered for the properties in favour of her as life estate by my father before his death and applied for injunction against me to enjoy rights. But it was dismissed by a lower court as the will was not proved.
Now I have approached district court with a petition to appoint a receiver till disposal of my partition suit. I am an Hindu from Tamilnadu.
My questions are
1. whether my action is correct?
2.What else can be done legally to establish my right over the properties?
regards
Ram

One flat in Salt lake, Karunamoyee co-operative society is a joint owner by my mother & my elder brother in the year 1984. now at present my mother was passes away in 2009 and my elder brother is a serious cardiac patient unable to move any where. We are two brother and two sisters & all are settled and married. Out of this one of sister and my elder brother is willing to transfer the apartment to my name but one of my unwilling elder sister is well settled in some places far away from Kolkata and become less interested to the property belongs to our mothers. She also not ready to co-operate us to make the legal papers in white and updated. At present the electrical energy meter and the tax bill is still in my mother's name.We cannot make it in my elder brother's name or in my name.At this moments what is to be done so that all the relevant documents like the tax bill, electricity bill and the apartment maintenance bill can be easily accessible by me legally and officially. For simply defective energy meter complains cannot be registered at west bengal state electricity board office as the main owner's signature is not available due to my mother's death. We have to stay in dark till date. Is there any way legally so that we can come out from this situation?

Dear Members
My grand father Mr ABC did not get share in his father property. But he acquired some property from brother of his grandfather who was unmarried and so gave his property (Land and residential plot) to my grandfather in 1970. Till now my grand father has not claimed his right in his father's (i.e. my grand grand father) property and also not in future.
Que .1: The said land n plot so received by my grandfather will be treated as self earned or ancestral property??
Que.2: Can I or my father claim share or partition in this property as ancestral or we have no right??
Property dispute
Respected Members,
I own a property( which is not yet registered) we have put up the papers for regularization of the same. I am receiving the Tax of it on my Fathers Name since 7-8 years. The light meters is also on my fathers name.
The problem is my grandfather helped my father financially in purchasing the said property but after a few years my father repaid all the amount to my grandfather.
Then my father gave the said property on rent and still being modest he used to give some amount of rent to my grandfather for his monthly expenses (Even after repaying the full amount to my grandfather).
Now i want to ask weather my grandmother or my uncles( i.e. my fathers bothers) will have any legal right on the said property.
I want to mention NO PAPER WORK is done on my grandfathers, grandmother or uncles.
