My father signed his unregistered WILL for his self acqired house, before his death in the name of my brother.
We are 3 sisters residing at delhi, m mother @ father has Rs.9 lakh in postoffice deposit and they nominated that after death this amount should be given to 3 daughters.
Now my question can we demand our share in that house for which my father had made will, witness by 2 persons both are died and its about 3 years back my father expire.

Hi
One of my sister was supposed to travel from Surat to Godhra(paternal property - house) to sign a Relinquishment Deed on a paternal property -House,and I her brother am staying at Baroda.... but she is not able to come at Godhra due to her family commitment.
Can she come here at Baroda and sign such deed registering the same in Baroda Sub resitrar office?
And can that Relinquishment Deed signed by her in Baroda be produced at Godhra i.e where paternal property is being situated...?? Is that valid...??
Also if property is being situated in gujarat , then can a sister sign such relinquishment deed from any part of gujarat.....?? Whether that signed Relinquishment Deed is Valid...??
Please do needful....
Thanks,

Sir,
I am having 5 acres of land in which I made sold out one acre to a person in 1996. The sale deed was registered but the patta was in my name. In 1997 the entire land was notified for acquisition by TN Govt. and I got stay from Madras HC(including the sold out land) and finally the MHC favouring me and I got succeeded. The Writ Petition was filed in my name and the entire court proceeding was contested by me only. From 1996 the possession of the land is with me and I am paying all the land taxes and I am doing agriculture. Now, is it possibility of there to get back the sold out land since I am having possession of the land as well as paying all the taxes. Kindly clarify.

Sirs
My friends father X a retired senior citizen bought two sites in 1969. These sites were aquired for road widening by BDA an arm of Karnataka govt. And an award was made for 17000/- as compensation. But X rejected the award and demanded that he be compensated with another site elsewhere. But authorities rejected his demand.this ordeal went thro till 2002 untill X felll ill n was bed ridden till death in 2006. There was WP filed seeking mandamus but that file had office objections which was not rectified due to X bad state of health.
This happened in 2001. Case was dismissed for non prosecution.
X son now approached an advocate who advised that this case is of no use now. And moreover award money is also 17000 only not worth fighting for. Is the Advocate advice proper or any other solution wherein award money along with interest is paid to LR's.
