Bar council membership

(Querist) 30 December 2013 This query is : Resolved 
Hello Sir/ Madam

one of my friend has pass his LLB exam in 2008 he has not applied for the Sanad as he is working with the bank. Now he only want a membership for Bar Council Of India and dont want to practice ..... is it possible to get membership while working some other job.

Strictly "no".

During service period, he can't enroll for membership.
