Appeal against municipal corp. for tax matter

I have purchase property from Bank through tender system in respect of Order of Registrar board of nominees. The order indicte the tax of municipal corporation shall be paid by the bank. bank still not paid the tax and the amount of remaining tax become higher. During this time Municipal corporation is taking step to recover tax so which court has jurisdiction to hear and decide for this matter?

you will have to proceed against the bank in a civil court . issue legal notice to bank that as per order passed tax has to be paid by bank .

since at present you are the owner of property you can pay the same to muncipal corporation and recover the same from bank . if you fail to pay taxes muncipal authorities will recover it from you .

Perfect advice by Shri Sethi.

You should not hold up payment of tax dues of municipal corporation at your level, otherwise you will have to open 2nd front also to fight case with the municipality also, besides fighting a legal battle with the defaulter bank.

Yes!Mr.Sethi has rightly opined.
Civil Court has the jurisdiction in the matter.
Issue notice to the Bank with reference to its Order of Registrar board of nominees undertaking to pay municipal taxes.

Payoff the municipal taxes meanwhile on your own or ask them by application to recover the same against the bank showing them Order of Registrar board of nominees undertaking to pay municipal taxes .
