My brother, who appeared in perosn, has filed the SLP against the High court order, in some service matter. The Supreme Court has issued notice and tag with the other SLP pending before the bench. Now the Registry, has issued has send letter advising him to file the “AFFIDAVIT OF VALUATION IN THE MATTER” failing which the default will be reported to the Hon’ble Court
My query is what is meant by affidavit of valuation in the matter as it is not money suit but just service matter
Since its service matter, he has already paid the court fees Rs 1800/- only, Dies it mean to say that he has to file the affidavit stating that he has already paid the court fees? Please clearify

Raman ji It means that calculate the value or monetary compensation of subject matter. Also take the oath stating that all content are true.

The best option is to get the matter clarified from the Registry itself. Theoretical suggestions may not be of much help.

Is there any standard format for filing "Affidavit of valuation in matter" in the Registry after admission of SLP( Civil) in Supreme Court of India. If yes, kindly upload the format, as there are vactions going on in SCI Thank you

If I can get, why should I posted here?Its common perception there that senior lawyers never entertain such Trifling issues. Moreover, there is vacation going on there in SCI.Is there any format available, it will make it easier for him to file it in registry

What is the opinion and advise of your lawyer who is taking care of the SLP, if you are not the Counsel for the petitioner?
As a drafting, filing and presenting SLP before Supreme Court your brother's advocate is well aware about the connotation and objection raised by the Registry qua "Valuation in the matter", you need not worry until you are giving an examination to the experts on this platform.
