wrong name in caste certificate and caste validity certifica

Hello sir
My name is AMEY ...its my original name written on my birth certificate and 10th certificate and all other document..but in my caste and caste validty certificate is AMEYA..
There is addition of letter 'a'..but pronunciation is same...so what should i do..i am preaparing for govt exam..is there any problem during document verification if i get selected..
Give me advice that it may matter or not..so that i can be ready for any corretion in name..

Make the affidavit of it before the competent authority.

You can approach / prey and submit required documents to the issuing authority to rectify the mistake.

The discrepancy need not cause any problem; even if any, this could be corrected through an affidavit.

3 advises

1st Make an affidavit declaring very well of your name spelling in all testimonials with cert serial no & dates. Also declare that all these names belong to/pertain to and identify AMEY @ AMEYA, D/O.....R/O... and is the same physical person.

2nd Publish this affidavit in 2 local newspapers.(buy and retain 3-4 sets original newspapers for future use).

3rd With affidavit + newspaper copies - send to that authority in whose testimonial your name appears as AMEYA.

these 3 steps will take care of all issues...hope all colleagues agree with me here.
