writ petition

I have file an writ petition in high court, I have received stamp no. But after filing I found some new important evidences which supports originat WP. Can I submit those in Hon'ble HC?
Accordinly the Prayer will also be changed.
What do I do?
Please help

You are allowed to file an application for amendment alongwith the additional documents also. Please file an application for amendment inserting/narrating additional facts and prayer and you can also file additional documents, which are in your possession. Hence there is no bar. Go ahead.

If the Writ Petition is not yet numbered, you can make corrections in the original petition and file a clean copy. For this Permission from the court is not necessary.

If the case is already numbered and listed int he court, you have to file a amendment petition for amending the prayer.
