Writ petition

How long it takes for courts to dispose off/give verdict in a writ petition and what is the complete expenses involved from preparation and filing of writ till the coming out of the verdict.

depends upon pendency of court cases . if petition is admitted then final hearing may take around 10 years . fees vary depending upon lawyer you engage

Thanks Sir, for the reply. But sir, I would like to know, whether, immediate relief is given by the court after the writ is admitted or the applicant has to wait for the final verdict?

Depends upon merits, relief demanded, any interim and immediate relief requested in the petition.

you can apply for interim reliefs pending hearing and final disposal of petition . if you have strong case on merits court may grant you reliefs
