I was working with a company for last few months, During this tenure they deducted my EPF and deposited the same. However, I am not having my salary sheets with me. They were neither emailed to me nor informed about. Although I could have retrieved them from their software when I was in service. Now, they are not providing me my UAN number or my PF number nor replying to my email requests. Is it possible to take any legal action?

Dear Nipun,
UAN is a recent addition, so, your UAN regn. message will be available in the regd. mobile itself which you can find out. You can also contact the local P.F. office- help desk for assistance.

YOU may write (under proper acknowledgment) to designated HR person handling PF and escalate to good offices of appointing authority,MD.
Thereafter seek help from EPFO.
The employer must be retaining salary slips for 3 years.
Apply your skills and get the required docs.

Whether the employer has given you Form 16 of previous year?
Send registered letter to your previous employer to supply the information.

Check at EPFO website and/or jurisdictional PF office if the establishment is in list of defaulters and PF contributions were deposited?
