Whether case of defamation can be filed before h.c?

If any party moves to H.C and made disparaging remarks in petition against the other party for seeking relief .The H.C dismissed the petition.Please inform whether affected party can file the Civil case for defamation before H.C?
Please inform how much court fees one has to pay at the time of Institution of the suit before H.C?

If it is property dispute the court fee will base upon valuation otherwise nothing.

In the civil court of competent jurisdiction. The CF is NIL at the time of filing but will have to be paid according to the quantum of damages finally granted.

you have won the case . petition has been dismissed . your position has been vindicated , why you want to waste time and money on filing defemation case .?

lawyer fees would be susbtantial as case would go on for years
