There was a case of consolidation of our land which is in our possession, in which the opposition party won, we went to the High Court against the order. The High Court ordered - Till the next date of listing, the parties are directed to maintain status quo on the spot now my question is Can I plant trees, cut trees, sow crops, reap crops on my land?
A High Court has ordered parties to maintain the status quo on a piece of land pending further listing. This means no changes can be made to the property as it was on the date of the order. Planting trees, sowing crops, or reaping harvests would likely be considered a violation of the court's order and could lead to contempt proceedings. It's advisable to refrain from any activity on the land until the court makes a final decision.

No, you can not change the position of property and do nothing with land and have to keep the land as it was on the date of passing of the order.

You pretty well know that the status quo means it should be maintained in the same manner. Status quo order clearly states that you are not disturb the prevailing status of the property. Any act of planting trees or any cultivation activity will attract contempt of court, better remain silent till the court passes a final order.
