Maintenance charges of common area

In our apartments we have 1, 2, and 3 BHK flats. Common are maintenance charges are levied rs. 1400, 1800 and 2000 respectively. Is this justifiable when the owner's right on the common area is undivsible and equal ? How an owner's association can charge based on the area of flat held?

Maintenance charges for BH1,BH2,BH3 are not identical. The charges scale depends entirely on the calculation method adopted by your Resident Welfare Association (RWA) or specified in the local cooperative housing society bylaws. Verify your society bylaw's rules and terms & conditions.
