wife asked me to return streedhan she doesnt wants any money and ready to sign on notaried/affidavit/stamp paper infront of five elders but 1 condition doesnt want to legaly go to family court for legal separation.
1. Should i return her queitly
2 will i be considered legaly separated if i return
2.or should i wait for 2 years and go for contested divorce on grounds of desertion
3 afterwards can i obtain divorce certificate without her presesence in the family court.

return the streedhan . obtain her signature in presence of 2 witnesses .

you can always file in for divorce later .better would be divorce by mutual consent

1 year if not contested and it is by mutual consent . if contested it may take years

If mutual divorce petition is moved, it gets decreed within a period of around 7 months and if contested divorce petition is filed, it may take more than 3 years for decision and there is no guarantee of the its decreetal in that event.
