Short notice

I want to know , can a employer hold salary of any employee on ground of short notice ?

if you have failed to serve the notice period as stipulated in your contract the employer would be justifed in holding your salary to extent of shortfall

Employer is well within his legal rights to do so as the employee has violated the term of his employment. It is better to negotiate and resolve the matter for all.
