remove a tenant

Sir

One of my friends property is having a high profile tenanant.how to remove him legally.he has not paid any rent for 20 years.he is occupying the property before my friend bought the property

Civil suit which may take 5-10 years is the way.

Strange you bought such property. Better reach an amicable solution through nears and dears.

Immediately file a suit for eviction.
Status of high profile would not stand in the way for your relief.

Since he once was tenant will always be and would be estopped from claiming title by prescription or adverse possession by rule of estoppel.
