Kindly let me know requirements and how to register a business in Goa by a Sri Lankan national who is already on Business Visa. i wish to know the contact details of Advocates who provide registration services as well.

No foreigner on business visa to India can register his business in any part of India except specific permission of Ministry of External affairs, Ministry of Industry & Commerce and RBI. So first of all obtain specific permissions from these departments and then only think to open your business institute.

That was so because there was consensus in past not to reply business queries.telling references of lawyer then was thought to serve the purpose.

I understand if it is a sole propritorship business. What if it is a partnership business one or more partners are indian Citizens living in the same state apart from Sri lankan Citizen ?

Even partnership firm which contain any foreigner shall also have to obtain permission from same authorities I told earlier.

Why don't you travel to Goa. As I remember that system has some different laws specially for foreigners. Do you have property to show for business registration and so on?
