Police verification for job without demand letter

(Querist) 11 December 2015 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,

Please let me know whether I can apply for police verification without demand letter?

I'm applying for government job in Mumbai and I know that they will ask for police verification report, and at that time I don't want to get delay for it.

Please let me know whether it is possible to apply for police verification without demand letter & how?

Thank You.

there cannot be any special procedure for you.

Police verification would be carried out by the employer on the basis of the information provided by the candidate for employment, once he/she is selected for appointment.

You can obtain PCC from your local police station. Even for people migrating to other countries, it is a must. Police cannot refuse it

Let it take place as per procedure.

In many states there are facility centers/ suvidha centers for public inside or outside police stations.

The verification asked by you in all probabilities to be initiated by govt employer and not you.

Policies shall not be changed as per your convenience.
