Pf society coverage

a notice has been served by PF for a society having 20 employees, but the act says it is exempted upto 50 enmployees . which is correct

Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952

As per provisions in force almost any establishment in India is required to have a registration with the basic criterion being employment of 20 or more persons.

HAVE you read EPF & MP Act, 1952 and provisions made thereunder regarding the coverage of any institution?

I am of the considered opinion that you never gone through this which is reflected by your presumption which has no legal base.
