Name spelling mistake

Hello All,
I have purchased plot and registration is also completed. When i generate Encumbrance Certificate(EC) my name last character is missing. My full name is SHAIK MASRATH JAHA. but in EC the name displayed is SHAIK MASRAT JAHA. 'H' is missing. Is there is any processes to correct it. Kindly needed advice.

Go for a rectification deed.

If you have correctly typed the name in the deed and registered, you can ask the Sub-Registrar to correct the same.

He will correct in his book and issue a revised EC.

On the other hand, if you have typed the name with error, it can be corrected by a rectification deed.

The fee for rectification deed is very less, however it needs both the executant and claimant to come to registrar office.

This is not a big issue. Registrar can correct it on the basis of its record.
