(Querist) 05 September 2014 This query is : Resolved
in matric certificate name is written as
DHARMENDRA PD SHAW
WHILE IN 10+2 CERTIFICATE IT IS WRITTEN AS DHARMENDRA PRASAD SHAW

HOW TO CORRECT BOTH NAME
AND ALSO SUGGEST THAT
WHICH ONE CAN BE RETAINED AS CORRECT NAME

Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 06 September 2014
Which name is true and correct, as per yourself, is Dharmendra Pd Shaw or Dharmendra Prasad Shaw?
Prima facie later is correct.
Apply for correction of your assumed (retained)name to the impugned certificate issuing authority, i.e., CBSE, State Educaation Board, ICSAI or any one else, which you have failed to mention and compelled the experts to presume. If asked/required by the authority file an affidavit to this effect alongwith your application, check it thereitself.

Dear Sonu Kumar Shaw
Your query is genuine, because the school authorities though are authorize to change the name in the certificates but they generally do not change the name in certificates untill and untill there is decree of the court.
So I suggest you to file a suit in civil court or file writ petition. Please go through the citation “Rashmeet Kaur Kohli (Minor) Through Mrs. Amarjeet Kaur.... Petitioner Versus Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

A declaration suit before a civil court to declare your correct name in all your educational certificates will be the better option.
