Mothers name correction

Sir / mam
My mother name is paramjit but in my 10th it is (paramjeet) I want to correct it but in my previous school TC did not have my mother name also father name is wrong in it. I did 10th in 2020 . This year I would clear my 12 th
If possible then I would also correct my mother name . How to do? Is affidavit required? Or wait for 12th marksheet to come then apply for correction.

Only two letters in your mother's name are noted wrongly. So for this correction you shall give a notarized affidavit is sufficient. In the school records only a parent/guardian name required. You noted both your father and mother names in two different classes. Why?

If your mother's name and your father's name are incorrectly spelt in your educational certificates, then your parents only have to take steps to initiate name change process as per procedures of law.
Let them prepare affidavits individually and separately stating that their names have been wrongly spelt in your educational certificates, i.e., instead of so and so it is spelt as so and so.
The affidavit duly notarized should be published in a local newspaper after which you keep the newspaper as well as the affidavit along with your documents to show that the spelling of your parents in your educational certificate is incorrect and to correct the you have underwent the process to rectify the same vide the documents in your possession.
This will help you to tide over the crisis.

Submit an affidavit by your mother to concerned authority stating she is one and the same person named as "Paramjit" and "Paramjeet".

Contact the authority who issued certificate for the procedure to be adopted.

Does previous school TC required ? Because the my current school stated that i need it ( but in previous school TC my father name is wrong) and the previous school is closed now. They said to again fill admission form of (current school) and get previous school TC, if not then you cannot correct the10 class marksheet.

The lapse is only because a vernacular name is written in English. Such discrepancies common in respect of proper names. And the issue is of no consequence.
