Missing company.

I have invested about 25 lakhs in the sterling tree magnum. I have lodged a complaint in the police also. I was told that the company MD is absconding. I have sent letters to that company, it was returned as door is locked.

Can any body help me in getting my money back?

Try to Trace the Company's Owners/Its Directors if it is Listed With your Own Efforts.Police would be Reluctant due to Various reasons.Hope you would Understand

You Could File a Suit to Attach the Property of Company as well as Owners /Directors.Better be careful in handling the Deposit Receipts Use only certified /Notarized Copies for all Legal Process.If you Miss the Originals it would be another problem where as you can not claim any New certificates since the company it self is Missing

May search record with ROC to find its and address of its directors.

If the search is futile,

or search result are futile

or if the company is defunct

or if the company is dormant

or if the company is mired in litigation

or if the company is under liquidation etc etc ......................

" Sterling tree magnum (India) ltd"The Cases are already there in Andhra and Madras High Courts in 2006 It self.You could Better check and seek the Possibility to Implead or Possibilities of Filing a fresh Case.Consult A Local Good Advocate with all Details

You will have to trace out the whereabouts of the company and its directors for initiation of criminal or civil proceedings for recovery of your money and legal action against the company.

Engage a local lawyer for proper guidance and proceeding.
