I wish to know the difference/s between the following: (1) PETITION & AFFIDAVIT (2) PLEADINGS & SUBMISSIONS
I want the clarification in respect of following issue.
In a case matter of mine I wish to mark (as a my side evidence) a Writ Petition of other side with some other party, not me, as the other side submissions in the said WP is in my favour. The same is not being marked stating WP contains only pleadings and not submissions.

If the opposite party admits the documents, then you can exhibit its certified copy. If it does not admit, then you call the other party of the writ petition and through him, you can exhibit the certified copy. The nuances of the definitions you want to know are not required to solve your problem.
