Do devotees of a temple have locus standi to challenge, in Court, the decision of the Managing Committee (comprising of priests only) to lease out land belonging to the temple. Citation if any would me most appreciated. Thank you.

If the trust is not incorporated then the memers are acting in private capacity on the private property.

FALLACIOUS INDEED ARE A FEW REPLIES. IF IT IS A PUBLIC TEMPLE THEN PUBLIC ARE BENEFICIARIES AND CAN CHALLENGE DECISIONS OF TRUSTEE BY FILING A SUIT UNDER SECTION 92 C.P.C BEFORE DISTRICT JUDGE WITH PERMISSION TO SUE.
