From where I can get certified copy of list of tenants in a plot in mumbai area ? I am a resident in mumbai and have a shop of which I am tenant. I want list of tenants from where to get it?
Which office to apply and to whom ?
PLS help urgent my complete earnings are at stake urgent reply appreciated....!!!!
This is private property.....& inspection of property bills donot have my name, but owners have collected timely rents from me and also issued rent receipts......

Please contact local municipal body office which is collecting property tax.They do conduct survey of properties and their occupiers.they collect data on rent if any collected by the owners of property. These survey/inspection reports are issued by the municipal body.

Generally no such list is available.
If the property is of Municipality or any department has done such survey, you can use RTI to get the information.

The letting is result of agreement between two parties,owner and lord,and there is no law to oblige some one to maintain a list thereof either locality wise or city wise or District wise or State or Country wise.

That is so because landlords use to conceal
rental income.

Now this plot is under redevelopment n builders are not considering me as tenant....thats why I was asking for list of tenants or structures on plot.....

File a suit of injunction in court that the lord is trying to remove you forcibly ,which legally he can not and your purpose would be solved.Get issued a commission by order of court in that to prove your possession.

Consult a local lawyer. No such list is available with any authority if undisclosed by landlord, which is in practice.

If you are affected by this redevelopment you may have to initiate appropriate legal action to safeguard your interests as the tenant. You may consult an advocate and file an injunction suit restraining the landlord not to evict you other than by due process of law.
