can my appeal be squashed in the final argument because it has been filled after the expiry of limited period?

the case was appealed on 2 july and the final arguments are on 8 july.
can the case be squashed because it is filled after the expiry of the period or final argument means that the case hss been recognised and cannot be sqyashed

In an appeal delay could be condoned if sufficient cause is shown, Had you prayed for condonation of delay.

if u have not filed application for condonation of delay with appeal then it will be dismissed otherwise not.
