i abhishek i pursuing llb last yr .i wnt to do llm . and i interested in corporate law practice. but im a bussiness man i hv minral water fctory propritrship my own name.

If you are really interested in law practice change the ownership to your wife or other family members on records then nothing prohibits.

Abhishek, People from business background enter law because of tbe independence that this field offers is similar and is great for those who do not wish to work under anyone. I speak this from experience. However, my suggestion would be that you carry on with business and there is a lot of legal paperwork that you can do apart from legal practice. Then side by side you can learn legal procedures from a senior lawyer and then if you see any money coming in from practice then decide of shifting professions. This arrangement worked out for me because my senior lawyer had many briefs and was very very co operative with my timings.

Uttam Kheti, Madhyam vyapar.

Better do vyapar as this is much better than the practice if you are settled in your business or hope to get established within a period of even 5 years.
