Is 7/12 extract can be transfer if plot of 3500 sq.ft is purchased?

we are going to purchase the plot at Taluka -Kalyan, Maharashtra, so i would like to know whether the plot purchased of 3500 Sq.ft in two part 1600 sq.ft and 1900 sq.ft can 7/12 be transfer in purchaser/s name if part of land or plot is purchased.
Please advice.......

1. Vague query.
2. When you are spending and investing such a huge amount for purchase of 3500 sq. ft plot, it would be appropriate to engage a local lawyer, pay him/her fees to ascertian feasiblity of the subject transaction, advise and guide you.

Yes. the ownership shall get transferred in 7/12 extracts which shall be sole proof of such change.

Sir we have already engaged a lawyer but we are not satisfied with his work............. as he making just simple sale agreement with notary, no registration and 7/12 transfer......... so i repeat my query that whether registration of plot and 7/12 transfer is possible land plot is in very less quantity........ i just seeking expert more view on this issue.

Salman your advocate had done work according to the procedure, i don't know why you are disbelieving him , presently you had made your sale agreement and get it notrised o.k. if you want to registered it that time you should talk to your lawyer you want to get it registered , generally people prefered to notrised their document instead of registration to save their money , after making full payment to the party only then you will go for sale deed and then get it registered, 7/12 procedure will be done after the completion of sale deed of the property , yes 7/12 procedure can be done for the small plot also to change of title .

7/12 extract is possible only in case of revenue land and not for the land situated within lal dora or the village.
