One of my close friend has been wrongly charged with IPC 324 by his elder sister in law by cutting her own hand and reporting it to the police that it is being done by my friend. He is being granted bail and the statement from his father was taken in which he has mentioned that my friend is wrongly charged. Now his brother & his wife are making absurd claim for money,etc in order to withdraw the case.My friend has got a job offer from abroad. Please advise can he travel in the present scenario, if not what would be the way out.

Yes he can. If There is any such condition that he will not leave India, he should ask permission of court.

Please advise what you meant by condition and where it should be written. My friend has only received the chargesheet from the court.

He can go abroad.

Thanks for response. Does it mean that my friend can go abroad for work after applying u/s 205. Please advise if my understanding is correct.What will be the case registered against him.

Let it registered,. All are innocent unless proved criminal. Have full liberty like any other citizen of India to go abroad.

He can if allowed by Court or if charge is dropped/withdrawn. Or if convicted after serving the sentence.

hai. you are not allowed to go abroad practically. as per law u can avail the permission of court, but there are so many provisions. so that it is not that much easy to go abroad immediately.
