Who is the legal guardian of a Muslim minor after the death of his father and paternal grand father?
Following the death of a Muslim minor's father and paternal grandfather, the mother typically becomes the natural guardian. While parents are the primary natural guardians, a grandfather can only be appointed guardian by a court of law. The mother's role as natural guardian is generally recognised in the absence of the father.
