Gift deed cancellation

hi sir/madam,

i have gifted my 1/4th share of property to my elder brother with out any consideration in some bad circumstance.Actually this property was given by my grandfather to us.Now i want to cancel the gift deed because my brother is playing game with me.

1) gift deed done in year 2007

please guide on this issue.

Gift deed once executed can not be cancelled at the will of the donor.

once gift deed has been executed duly stamped and regd your brother is absolute owner of property. possession must have been handed over by you . you cannot now revoke the gift made in favour of your brother . you can move court for setting aside gift deed but it has to be proved that gift deed was executed by coercion or fraud

Cancellation of gift deed is not possible. Get the property regifted by your brother to you.

Strike rapport with your brother and look for amicable settlement of all issues.

If you can not prove that gift deed was executed by fraud/coercion then don't add fuel to the fire......

Try and involve elders and mature ones to settle......

gift deed can't be revoked unilaterely, just try to sort out matter amicably.
