BMC has issued 351 to 10 members for creating French window and enclosing the sajja area(Fsi voilation)
Can we create the same french window without enclosing the sajja area .

is it legally right to do it ,bcos its been done in many societies. we have been given notice bos of 3 members complaining to BMC and there is FSI voilation.
Can we create the same french window without enclosing the sajja area.

ok , can u quide me please , what should be the base of the reply and is extending a small window into a french window illegal and is there any way out .We would be very gratefull.

Sir,
Converting a small Window to a French Window is considered a structural alteration.
Any sort of structural addition or alteration should be undertaken only after permission in writing from the society and the Municipal Corporation.
It would be in your.interest to restore the window to its original size and condition.

They will naturally take action and any structural change has to to approved by the BMC [Building Proposal department]. from which ward you belong to there in BP Dept of Bmc you have to approve the same and then make changes or now that you have already made go for regularisation of the same as per the DCR Rules '
