Fir u/s 279 ipc

Sir last night I was driving my friends car whereby i met with an accident with a load carrier mini truck and nobody got hurt except me with minor bruisies.Police did not lodged the fir at the first instance and said ki go and get the treatment first..

Now in order to get the insurance claim my friend in the morning went to the police station and lodged an fir u/s 279 ipc against me and said that within few days after getting the claim we will withdraw the complaint.

Though 279 is not compoundable..can anyone please tell me what are the further proceesings in such a case and i had taken bail also.

I dont want any such liability of fir or court case on me in future to create any problem.

now the FIR has been registered the only conviction or acquittal can be done by due process of Law.

Sir i dont want conviction..please guide me with the due process to get acquittal..and also there is compromise with the other party..should i go for quashment

Though it is non compoundable offence, you can make settlement with him and get the case mutually quashed by the high court.

If the fir is quashed by hc..will there be any future complications for me..

If FIR is quashed by HC, nothing remains.

Try for quashing of the FIR by mutual consent, nothing would be there if FIR quashed.

Sir now a new fact came to my knowledge that the fir has been lodged by the state and not the complainant..what are my options now..sir please guide me as i am scared now..
