M.Sheik Mohammed Ali (Expert) 04 January 2012
as per Cr.P.C. act any complaint made before the police station, the police must register FIR, and if not file send the complaint higher officer, or commissioner or DGP, and your jurisdiction magistrate.
Deepak Nair (Expert) 04 January 2012
Rightly advised by Mr.Sheik.
If the concerned police station refuses to register FIR, then aproach the higher authorities with a complaint aganst such police officers. You have the option to file a complaint with the magistrate too.
