Fil played trick to show my absence in mediation center

I was ready to go for mediation center date and i received the call from my lawyer that mediation will not happen this day as mediation center person is not available and some of his peer called my lawyer.

I later checked the number and no one picking on that number and also i found that number is near to FIL home. The number from which call came is MTNL and Landline number.

The cal never came directly to me, so i cant prove my reason for absence in mediation center.

They might want to delay mediation or prove that i am not attending mediation dates. Kindly advise what to do in this situation?

My case is in Gurgaon.

it is strange that someone calls as your lawyr and you are not able to croos-check.

If you receive fraudulent call from MTNL No then file criminal case against the subscriber. Only then you may be able to convince the authroties.

U mean to say you cannot recognize the voice of your own Advocate or see his Number on your Phone??

It is your duty to recheck and call your Advocate back.

Now you produce Sick Certificate for that day, to justify your absence.

BE CAREFUL, OR U CAN BE FOOLED

AND U DESERVE IT IF YOU ACT SO FOOLISH.

Just to clarify: My lawyer called me and i am able to recognize him and his number, but the message passed to my lawyer was fraudulent by someone. It was done to mislead me to not attend mediation date.

get name & add of that number from mtnl, go & inquire did ur lawyer used that phone.
file criminal complaint to mislead you.

How can ur Adv use someone's L Line mtnl to talk to you??
if he did so, immediately changed him.

Be careful & attend all court dates henceforth.
It is possible they mark u absent, even if you are present, so be vigilant, see Roznama. Apply one or other Application on record to show your presence and get it exhibited.

You are discussing a baseless issue. If your lawyer has been deceived, let him explain. There is no big issue if someone could not attend a hearing in mediation centre. The efforts of mediation centre are not first and last chance. If you are in mood to go ahead now take part in its meetings.

No case is made out in the given situation.

there is something fishy in the matter.

well if you are really interested for mediation then simply go there on the next date....if the matter is referred back to court then request the court again the explain the circumstances.

both you and your lawyer will have to show their bonafide.
