Fake poa/will to sell property

(Querist) 07 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
My Uncle is a NRI and he Own a property in Dehradun since 1985. We recently found out from a real estate broker that somebody is trying to sell his property by producing fake documents such as fake Power of attorney and a fake will. He has not give any power attorney or a will to anyone.

Please advice what steps should we take to avoid this fraud to happen and protect our property from such fraud. What department or authority can we report so we can avoid such fraud to happen.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 07 April 2014
In the first instance issue public notice in newspaper.

1. Display a board that for enquiry contact the owner directly. and state that there is no POA given.

2. Give a police complaint for your records.

3. Check with the registrar office on any malpractices.

WELL ADVISED by experts .

PUBLISH public notice news papers.. .
Send a copy c Advocate notice to Asst Registrar of Assurance not to Register any such deal.

If u know who all are doing it, issue legal notice directly to them, not to sell, trf or create any third party right.
Can get injunction order from Court too.
can also file criminal case ..
