i purchased a flat on loan in the year 2006 but its registry has not been done yet.
promoter is asking for some extra money to register the property besides stamp duty.
i have repeatedly asked him to register my flat but he is not listening to me.
i want to know in what other ways i can get my flat registered and what legal steps i can take against the promoter?
plz mention the section and provisions..

You could file complaint before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum where you would get speedy remedy. If no payment is due or if there is any due and you are ready to pay then the Forum would direct the promoter to register the deed of conveyance in you favour at the earliest. You may also get pecuniary compensation.

You must have all the records of payment of money and agreement of rate/ area.If you have paid some money in cash and no reciept taken the builder can always claim dues in the court. So do your homework first.
