Can a Society provide certificate courses. For example a society provided courses related to indirect taxes. whether they can provide certificate to their student. also tell me is there any govering body from where we get registration for courses realted toindirect taxation.

If the courses are offered in Distance Education Mode approach Distance Education Council of IGNOU, New Delhi for permission and if on regular class basis go in accordance with state education act. Of course, a society may issue certificates for its successful students but what matters is the value attached to such certificates. Whether the educational institution offering the course is reputed and has name worth recognising its certificates is what the employers look into.
