regarding profession tax

HELLO FRIENDS,THANX A LOT FOR ANSWERING MY PREVIOUS QUERY.PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IT IS ESSSENTIAL TO PAY MY PROFESSION TAX EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT PRACTISED LAW FOR A YEAR DUE TO PERSONAL PROBLEMS.I HAVE BEEN PAYING IT PREVIOUSLY.THANX. LOOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR REPLIES.

Yes it is better, because I donot think you have surrendered your practice certificate for the year you were not practicing.

If you have written to BAR council you are attached to that you are not practicing, then OK otherwise, you may have to pay the PT.
