Co-operative housing society has made the resolution to charge Administrative Fees for leave & Licence Agreement in CHS Ltd from the owner Rs 10000/- for 2BHK and Rs12000/-3 BHK for Bachelors. Is it lawful? Can society charge for leave and licence of flat? And if Society charge such charge how it can be protested in a lawful manner?

it is extoetion of money . Rs 10,000 as amdintration fees are are exhorbitant . the society has to merely check that agreement is duly stamped and regd , police verification has been obtained . the objective seems to be to duiscourage bachlors from taking flats on leave and license . raise the issue in AGM . whethwer any such resolution has been approved by AGM . if society refuses to reconsider the amdinistrative charges move cooperative court against the society

1. First: File an NC /FIR against the Society Mg.Committee, for Cheating, Intimidation, Extortion.
2. Second: File complaint before the local Consumer Forum, for deficiency and deliberate harassment and refund of such charges with interest ....
