property is in the name of father (father expired) three legal heirs mother, son and daughter, need to take loan on sons name for construction which deed is suggested and which one will be cheaper

deed of relinquishment wherein you relinquish rights in favour of family would work out to be cheaper . it attracts nominal stamp duty .

Mother and sister should relinquish their share in favor of son/brother by a registered deed or a gift deed which ever is the less expensive with respect to stamp duty in the state the property is.
