Good Afternoon Sir,
I want to know that if any association is running unregistered from last 8 years & not showing account to any members till the date by giving excuse that they are not registered so they are not liable to show account any member...
Is it so??
As a member i want balance-sheet copy then what to do in legal way...
We are 240 members in this association.

then the member can leagal right to ask it. if not then ask them to preper it for last three year.

But the people who are office barres are not listening & not shown account yet...
From last 12 month m asking about accounting & they are behave like careless & verbally they also told that we'll not issue account do whatever U want..
Can U help me more on this..???

Its Not a corporate Company..
Its a type of Association.

Are you a member of the association? If not, you don't have the right to ask for tth accounts from the association. However, if you are a member, irrespective of whether the association is registered or not, a member has every right to ask for production of accounting record for his satisfaction about proper accounting of receipts and expenditure by the said association.
If they fail, you may call for emergent meeting of the members of the association and make a collective requisition for calling of the special general body meeting to discuss the problem.
You may send the requisition for special general body meeting to the Secretary of the association. If he fails to call for the requisitioned meeting, the members, themselves, may call the meeting and discuss the issue and pass a resolution directing the secretary to produce the Receipt and Expennditure account of the association by some fixed date, failing which members may lodge a police complaint against all the office bearers of the association for embezzlement of funds of the association, if they suspect so.

I personally Ask in written 4-5 times but every time a poor reply from committee.
Finally after all this they kept an members meeting on 6th Sep'12 in which they issue unsigned & un stamped balance sheet copy which dont have any value.
And in more Committee told me that they are not continue my membership for next year as i ask too many Que about accounting.. No any member are agree with this decision but committee has passed this resolution by their wish which is against nomes..

Your membership cannot be terminated merely at the sweet will of the office bearers of the association. It is not understood, how they could get the resolution passed against the wishes of other members. You can raise question in the general body meeting. You can even sue them in the court of law against such an undemocratic and arbitrary decision.
