Experts please comment:
If jewellery given to a daughter is forbidden as per family law ???. If wife gives jewellery worth lakhs to daughter without consent of husband, can she claim its re-imbursement from husband through a divorce suit.

if wife gives jewellery to daughter/sister-in-law without consent of her husband then she can not demand/claim for the same from husband in any case.

Dear Mr. Mohan.R,
Even if the jewellery was given by the wife with the consent of her husband, to her daughter, the wife cannot claim/recover the money's worth of the same from her husband.
